Returning from Lake Tahoe one trip, my wife and I decided to take the road to Bodie off of the I-395. We'd passed this road about 30 times (or more), and finally determined it was a good time to see what Bodie was all about, which was a good decision. If you find yourself in the Eastern Sierras near Mono Lake, be sure to check out this very large ghost town.

Very nice image. Wonderful light. I would have guessed this was first place. The last time we went to Bodie (late April/early May), they hadn't taken the truck out of winter storage yet. I was really disappointed. v
